A conferma del fatto che l’iPhone 3GS è un altro successo, nonostante le numerose polemiche, ora nessun modello di nuovo Melafonino può essere acquistato.

Nessun problema per gli iPhone 3G: sia il modello da 8GB sia quello da 16GB si possono comprare senza problemi.

Anche sul sito Apple si possono acquistare tutti i modelli di iPhone. Invariati i tempi di consegna di 7 giorni.

Riguardo a Vodafone, segnaliamo che l’iPhone 3GS da 32GB è stato rimosso dallo Store, lasciando il 16Gb come unico modello acquistabile.

Apple always seems to have a lot of fire-related news. Overheating iPhones, power adapters melting down, and now we have word from Sweden that a 2007 Saab burned to a crisp, and the experts there suggest an iPod as the culprit.

It as been determined there was no technical problem with the car, but the owner had an iPod, a mobile phone and a digital camera in the car. The iPod was on the front seat, and that is where the fire apparently started. The Saab was not even running when the fire broke out. It's not known if the iPod was charging, or just sitting there by itself.

The investigation is ongoing. We all know Apple makes some hot products, but this one may have been a little too hot.

Abbiamo più volte parlato dei prezzi quasi proibitivi del nuovo iPhone 3GS con i due operatori Tim e Vodafone, ma oggi, grazie ad un utente di iSpazio che ha iniziato a lavorare presso un centro Vodafone, siamo in grado di esaminare il costo del dispositivo ed il relativo guadagno che viene percepito sulla vendita di ogni unità.

Come potete vedere dall’immagine, il primo ordine riguarda 4 iPhone 3GS da 32GB al costo di 595€ ciascuno . Il totale è di 2.380€ (IVA esclusa) che corrisponde a 2.856€ IVA inclusa, sul quale però viene applicato un ulteriore sconto del 10% che porta il costo effettivo a 2.570€

Facendo gli opportuni calcoli, ogni iPhone 3GS a questo negoziante è costato 642,5€ (iva inclusa e su un ordine di 4 pezzi)

Con l’imminente uscita del sesto capitolo della famosissima saga di Harry Potter, Warner Bros ha deciso di rilasciare un’applicazione dedicata proprio al famoso maghetto di Hogwarts. Tramite quest’ultima, finalizzata comunque a pubblicizzare il Film, potremo leggere la trama, la storia dei personaggi, e visualizzare i video trailer oppure le immagini (tutte salvabili nel Rullino Fotografico).

Un’altra simpatica funzione, presente in questa applicazione, è la possibilità di creare, tramite la sezione Gazzetta del Profeta, delle locandine da “ricercati”. Potremo quindi scattare 4 foto consecutive ed otterremo un manifesto “magico” ed animato, proprio come quelli del film. Harry Potter e il Principe Mezzosangue è compatibile con iPhone ed iPod Touch, richiede il firmware 3.0 o successivo ed è localizzato in molte lingue tra cui l’italiano (anche se alcune parole, dopo la selezione iniziale della lingua, non vengono tradotte correttamente). Vi ricordiamo, inoltre, che la pellicola sarà disponibile in tutte le sale italiane a partire dal prossimo 17 Luglio.

Apple has just released a Knowledge Base document detailing a number of potential fixes for one of the Wi-Fi and Bluetooth problems that have plagued iPod touch and iPhone handhelds. The article specifically addresses the inability to use Wi-Fi or Bluetooth due to not seeing the Bluetooth or Wi-Fi address on the device. This includes getting a Wi-Fi signal but not being able to access the Internet, not being able to pair a Bluetooth device, and having the Wi-Fi or Bluetooth icon grayed out.

Four solutions are proposed in a step-by-step manner. The solutions range from resetting the network settings to restoring the device back to a bare 3.0 install, which erases all data. No worries there, since you can always re-sync your device with the information on its host computer, assuming you have a current backup.

The fourth solution is a bit darker. Call Apple for service. If this doesn't do it, you are directed to a second article which talks about re-doing your network settings and turning the network settings off and then on again.

Neither article deals with the basic problems of speed and sporadic signal strength. Please let us know if these solutions do the trick for you.
