L’Unione Europea chiede spiegazioni ad Apple per tutti i dispositivi esplosi.

In questi ultimi tempi ci sono stati tanti casi di esplosioni che riguardavano i dispositivi Apple mglio conosciuti come iPod Touch ed iPhone. Vi abbiamo parlato di ogni singolo avvenimento, spesso reputato un fake o un semplice tentativo di pubblicità ma oggi l’Unione Europea si è fatta avanti.
Sono state chieste delle spiegazioni ad Apple e l’azienda non ancora fornito alcuna risposta. La faccenda è stata presa davvero sul serio e di conseguenza siamo sicuri che nei prossimi giorni sentiremo nuovi casi di esplosioni in giro per l’Europa.
In ogni caso, vi terremo informati.

So here's something interesting, if you're curious to know what features might be in iPhone OS 3.1. It seems YouTube is chock full of videos shot in what seems to be defiance of Apple's NDA for 3.1 features. A couple of gems hint at expanded copy/paste functions, and there's one video which we could swear might hint at a real-time zoom... perhaps not just for photos but for framing video?
Anyway, it's a bit of a mining expedition, as searching for specific [REDACTED] methods or properties yields best results, so don't get all hot and bothered thinking you'll peep an iPad by searching for "setAppleTabletSize" or something. In fact, all of these could be fake, although the sheer number of videos seems to suggest something other than a grand deception.

I was straining my brain today -- admittedly not a hard thing for me to do -- trying to think of a topic for a Friday Favorite. The answer was right in front of me all the time, since one of the most-used applications on my Macs is Snapz Pro X (US$69) from Ambrosia Software.Snapz Pro X, currently at version 2.1.5, is a deceptively powerful Mac application that hides out of the way until you need it. What does it do? It lets you capture pictures and video of anything on your Mac.

iPhone esplosi, l’UE si muove chiedendo spiegazioni ad Apple

Nei giorni scorsi abbiamo parlato più volte di vere e proprie esplosioni di iPhone, anche con lesioni di chi stava utilizzando in quel momento il dispositivo. Visto che i casi si sono verificati in Francia e in Gran Bretagna, l’Unione Europea ha deciso di intervenire chiedendo spiegazioni ad Apple.
Agli incidenti si starebbero interessando i commissari per la tutela dei consumatori, della salute e per l’industria. Ad oggi la Mela non avrebbe ancora inviato nessuna risposta alle autorità europee.

Le prime immagini del nuovo iPod Touch?

Il rilascio ufficiale del prossimo modello di iPod Touch è previsto per Settembre; a circa un mese dall’evento di Apple, iniziano a circolare in rete le primi immagini leaked del nuovo iDevice. Reali o Fake?
Come vedete le foto mostrano un iPod dal design simile al modello precendente, con l’aggiunta della fotocamera centrale. Effettivamente i rumors sull’inserimento di una fotocamera nel prossimo iPod Touch erano presenti già da tempo e queste immagini, se reali, sarebbero la conferma definitiva.

Theme Settings (Cydia): Winterboard nelle impostazioni dell’iPhone

Theme Settings è la nuova versione di Winterboard Settings e serve ad implementare alcune opzioni del programma all’interno delle impostazioni iPhone.
Abbiamo infatti la possibilità di attivare/disattivare Winterboard, applicare i temi alla sola Springboard, abilitare i vari temi installati, nascondere le icone delle applicazioni e utilizzare la funzione log per visualizzare gli errori presenti nei temi realizzati da boi.

Ottimi saldi oggi in AppStore dato che un altro bel gioco è appena diventato gratuito per un tempo limitato. Sto parlando di TowerMadness, un Tower Defense con grafica 3D davvero ben fatto. Dovremo combattere gli alieni con le nostre torrette, evitando che rubino le pecore poste nel recinto.
Pesa solo 5MB ma la grafica è davvero ottima per un gioco del genere, ed abbiamo anche la possibilità di zoommare e ruotare il quadro a 360°. Abbiamo tante armi a disposizione e risulterà un buon passatempo per tutti gli appassionati del genere. Approfittatene subito e scaricatelo gratuitamente.
