Apple ha appena informato tutti gli sviluppatori iPhone che da oggi è possibile utilizzare l’In-App Purchase anche per le applicazioni gratuite! In passato invece, l’utilizzo di queste API erano riservate soltanto a software commerciali di almeno 0,79€.
In questo modo, gli sviluppatori potranno completamente eliminare le versioni Lite, creandone soltanto una gratuita e limitata che potrà poi essere sbloccata attraverso un acquisto “in-app”. Tutto questo è volto anche ad offrire una maggiore sicurezza per gli sviluppatori e Apple lo spiega chiaramente:

L’utilizzo dell’In-App Purchase risulterà utile per combattere alcuni problemi con la pirateria del software dato che gli sviluppatori avranno la possibilità di verificare gli acquisti. Una mossa piacevole sotto diversi punti di vista ma che delinea chiaramente le nuove intenzioni di Apple per un “mondo” senza Jailbreak.

You've heard me talk about National Novel Writing Month, also known as NaNoWriMo, before. It's the annual event aimed at getting potential bestsellers out of the minds of would-be writers and onto paper -- virtual or real. The idea is that most people have a couple of good novels hidden inside them, and that they just need a push to get those words written. NaNoWriMo involves starting to write on November 1st, and having at least 50,000 words written by the end of the month.
Seeing that NaNoWriMo begins in about two weeks, I thought it would be a good idea to do some recruitment and provide some ideas on how you can get ready for this event. From what I've seen over my 25 years as a Mac user, those of us who "think differently" are more apt to be creative and participate in something like NaNoWriMo.
Mozilla has again slammed the browser "ballot screen" proposal that Microsoft's made to European antitrust regulators, saying that the voting will be skewed Apple's way because its Safari browser will be the first choice on the list.
Qualche giorno fa vi abbiamo parlato dell’impossibilità di eseguire il Jailbreak sui nuovi iPhone 3GS, a causa di una nuova versione dell’iBoot introdotta da Apple per risolvere un problema di vulnerabilità che ostacola l’exploit 24kpwn. Oggi Eric McDonal, un membro del DevTeam, in un’intervista telefonica ha dichiarato che non c’è molto da temere perchè anche su questi “nuovi iPhone 3GS” sarà possibile eseguire il Jailbreak.
E’ stato spiegato che attualmente viene ostacolato l’exploit chiamato “24kpwn”, che non potrà mai più essere utilizzato. Lo scopo di questo exploit però, è semplicemente quello di eseguire il Boot del dispositivo, per avviare l’iPhone dopo il jailbreak.
Il nuovo bootrom installato sugl’ultimi iPhone 3GS interferirà soltanto sull’avvio del dispositivo e quindi gli utenti dovranno necessariamente collegarlo al computer per riuscire a farlo partire. Proprio per questo motivo si chiama “tethered” jailbreak.
La “seccatura” di doverlo accendere collegandolo al computer, durerà poco perchè il DevTeam ha dichiarato che troveranno un nuovo exploit. D’altronde anche l’iPod Touch 2G ha una versione aggiornata dell’iBoot e, ad oggi, anche questo dispositivo riesce ad essere avviato senza tethered jailbreak.
Insomma, una buona notizia che consolerà tutti quegli utenti intenzionati ad acquistare il dispositivo nei prossimi giorni/mesi.

L’applicazione è completata e funziona decisamente bene. Il prossimo step è quello di migliorare la grafica e, infine, sviluppare un sistema di cache che renda la visualizzazione delle pagine molto più immediata. Manca poco e vi terremo aggiornati.
